It's probably inappropriate to post this in the Mens discussion section, because it also affects women and Junior game, but the MDS tends to be the one that I go on and has most contributors on. This evening I'll be at a roundtable discussion with incoming LTA CEO Scott Lloyd. Will be able to ask him abou...

A quick question on nootropics, has anyone tried them for tennis?
(Preview)
A quick question on supplements, anyone tried those that increase focus? Like caffeine, green tea, or specific ones you can buy online for brain focus? And if so, did they help for tennis?

Inspired by a conversation with CD on another thread and also by a book I am reading at the moment, (re reading) called "Open Tennis" by Richard Evans; it is a history of the first 20 years of Open tennis from 1968 onwards. One of the things that struck me in the early days (and remembering the debate we hav...

I've been asked to write a quarterly article (700 words or so) for a magazine to highlight some of the achievements of Brits below tour level. Sounds interesting (and right up my street) but they're not offering to pay for the articles despite it being a paid-for magazine, instead offering to publici...

Zverev- over hyped rubbish
(

)
(Preview)
Alex Zverev. Has now played 11 grand slams, and is yet to beat a top 50 player or go past the 4th round. In order to keep tennis current, ATP over hyped this kid, and tried to make him a poster boy. What a failure it has been.

I was wondering whether anyone knows any way of getting hold of Margaret Court's new biography, which was released just over a year ago. As far as I know her new book is just that and is not a re-print of her original autobiography, which was completed over 20 years ago. It seems like McMillan Australia...
