Crackin R1 draw for Ward.
Also Rochette went thru qualifyiong for more points so might be tired by R2. I think he could have Loglo if he gets that far
Gamez is 23 years old, shares his birthday with my sister and is unranked. He must be playing at the local club or something as he had a wild card to a Futures in Melilla last year, too.
Nice easy rd1 for James, he should feel confident over causing an upset against Rochette in rd2. Rochette's only ranked 600ish and James came very close to beating that guy in the 400s in Valencia last week. Think Kasiri beat Rochette earlier this year indoors.
Was surprised that Connolly went for qualies here, clay doesn't suit his game at all, there are still a couple of indoor tourneys about
its a pretty decent draw for james - think he may go places - semi is a possibility (or even further!), top seed has a bit of an inflated ranking due to african futures etc.
