Anne regularly makes the semis in this tourney...here's hoping for a repeat....Bally's never been beyond the quarters I think which just shows how strong the field can be.

I agree on the wcs...I'd give the 4th wc to Amanda usually but she's been doing v poor lately and Tasha has been in brilliant form

How will Tara get in ?? I doubt she'll get a qualies wc ? Qualies wcs will probably go to...Smith, Fitzpatrick, Webley-Smith and maybe Julia Bone/Amanda Elliott/Naomi Broady/Jade Curtis

Nana, qualies cut was below WTA rankings last year.

I wonder how she'll do on grass. Since she grew up in Hong Kong and moved to Bradenton soon after, she can't have played much on it. She'll probably do Halle, Roehampton and Wimbly after this.

some of the better british players bone exc. are contracted to doing french club league. so they will not be able to play

i dont think she is that standard to be honest. considering alicia molik is playing top seed.
stoop cavaday arent even in qualies on list and no brits have reached main draw so far.
plus she only has 1 or 2 more wild cards left

yeah she is good enough to play surbiton qualies...she took a set of a top 150 player in Jan !!!! She deserves a qualies wc....we have to give those to juniors as the Brits in top 800 will get in direct if they sign-in.

Yeah the tournament gets just as good a field being a 25k so whats the point in upgrading it?

They should upgrade it. Isn't it harsh that a player gets the same amount of points for defeating Molik as she would get for defeating the world numer 567 in some Asian 25K?
