The most mysterious tournament of the year. No one gets to know who played the event, what the draw was like and at times even who won it - and yet, this is apparently a very prestigious tournament.
Iain Atkinson won it last year, after beating two top 10 players (apparently, as no one knows who those top 10 players were).
I wonder which British players will be there. As it has always been said, the grass season is too congested. Played in and around the same time will be - Roland Garros, Surbiton, ATP Queen's Club, ATP Nottingham qualies, ITF in Halle and the wild card play offs.
Cox could be there as he used train at Queen's before he moved to Roehampton.
who's won in the past? Is it normally a Brit who wins? (I know Atkinson and Kasiri have been the last two winners, just wondering if this was a coincidence, new trend or tradition )

Klein will be the favourite this year, no matter who the other players are (unless someone like Donald Young is invited!). The Australians play quite a bit on grass.
Brits have won it for the past 4 years....Andy Murray never won it though.
Boggo won in 2003, Miles Kasiri won in 2004, Andy Kennaugh won in 2005 and Iain Atkinson won last year...
If Cox, Evans and Willis play they'd surely have a good shot at it this year...it finishes on the Friday so won't affect Nottingham qualies....hopefully they might be still in the wc playoff though
