Looks like Alex gave a walkover. His opponent is shown as progressing to the main draw with "Match not played" listed where the scoreline should be. Hope he's not injured.

With luck, the fact that it shows "not played" instead of w/o means that someone pulled out of the main draw before any of the qualifying matches started and Alex is in.

Alex is in the MD along with Morgan and Robert Dee.
Alex plays the 7th seed Sousa (POR), Morgan, the 3rd seed Martin-Adalia (ESP) & Rob, the Russian Sitak. It won't be easy for any of them. Alex is also in the doubles as is Dee with Charlie Goode.
Alex and Rob are playing singles tomorrow, with Rob and Charlie also playing their doubles match. Busy day foe some.
What a rubbish draw for Morgan and the Wardinator - here it is in all its glory:
L32 Q3: Alex Ward WR 973 v (7) Joao Sousa (POR) WR 585 L32 Q3: (PR) Morgan Phillips WR 1493 v (3) Pablo Martin-Adalia WR 501 L32 Q4: (WC) Robert Dee UNR v Dmitri Sitak (RUS) WR 648
Edit: just noticed that Sitak has been drawn to play the dream team of Dee & Notso (*) in the doubles - he must think all his Christmasses have come at once Wouldn't it be great if Robert could find a way through one of those matches though.
(*) In fairness, Charlie did take a game off Cuellar-Gonzalez in QR1 and Cuellar-Gonzalez then took a game off Steven Diez in the FQR. Btw there were 16 bagels in 16 QR1 matches here!

At last a bit of good news today: Dee, predictably, lost 2 & 0 to Sitak ( ), but Alex dumped out the seventh seed, Sousa, by 5 & 2! He takes on the Spanish qualifier, Steven Diez, who needed three sets to overcome a slightly more lowly ranked fellow qualifier today, in Round 2. Señor "Ten" apparently has a WR of 1139, compared with Alex's 973, so a chance, I'd've thought...
L32 Q3: Alex Ward WR 973 beat (7) Joao Sousa (POR) WR 590 by 5 & 2 L32 Q3: (PR) Morgan Phillips WR 1496 v (3) Pablo Martin-Adalia WR 502 - Tuesday L32 Q4: (WC) Robert Dee UNR lost to Dmitri Sitak (RUS) WR 643 by 2 & 0
The Wardinator is showing early signs of a bit more consistency this year Dee and Notso managed to win one game in their doubles match. 2 games for Robert in his singles match doesn't seem too bad against WR 643.
L16: Alex Ward WR 973 v Steven Diez (ESP) WR 1140 L16: Phillips or Martin-Adalia v (WC) Angel Alonso-Campos (ESP) WR 1565
Mr "Ten", as SC puts it, has never been in the top 1000, but managed to beat Cox and Milton a year or so ago. Alonso-Campos won a WC v WC match in R1, only his 2nd win in his last 14 matches, so there is a huge incentive for Morgan to mirror Alex's heroics tomorrow ...
also, the winners of the two L16 matches above will play each other in the QFs.
