Yes, Steph is here for at least 3 tournaments. I assume she is trying to gain sufficient points to achieve direct acceptance for a Grand Slam.

Correct! She's come through comfortably against much lower ranked players, but the remaining quartet are all around the 100 mark, and she will have to meet her doubles partner next.
