Chris opts to take part in just the singles this week in Switzerland.

Having sneaked a seeding in the bottom quarter, on paper it looks as if he could look to make quarters. Unfortunately for him, he seems to have drawn the most in form player in the draw in his 1st round.

Holger Fischer won the Switzerland F1 and made semis of F2 last week, so it looks as if Chris will have to play well to get the win to R2.

i remember saying eatons wimbledon win was the most overatted thing since whitesnake, and i was crucified for saying it at the time, but now i have been proved right. Hes a top 500 player at best, who got lucky against a sebian ice cream man at wimbledon.

Fischer's R2 and QF opponents retired last week, so he's on a lucky streak too!

Anyone notice a result in the top half of the draw:

L32:  Piotr Gadomsky (POL) WR 731 lost to (Q) Matthias Kolbe (GER) WR 1319 by 1-6 7-6(16) 3-6?!! disbelief

Yeh I was annoyed he didn't play that tie as it was a fast court and I felt he had a better chance of hitting through the lithuanians rather than the likes of Evans at that time.
In this tournament, the carpet courts will definitely favour eaton so here's hoping he can continue this good start.
