I did consider doing the polls as AV rather than first past the post as an educational exercise before the voting referendum, but looks a bit beyond the scope of the polling facility here.
Anyway it certainly looks like it would be rather more significant in the men's vote than here.
I chose Annie K. The decision was made very much with my heart rather than my head. I hope that she heads back into the top 100 again and it's a proper battle between her, Bally and Heather (and as many girls as possible in the top 100 of course).
In ranking points actually won so far this year all is very close between 3, and with Anne K's first round win in Johannesberg today she takes the lead on 281 ranking points with Heather and Bally close behind on 277 and 269 points respectively.
As I noted in the Johnannesberg thread Anne had quite a boost from 160 points won in the Aussie Open. But then Bally won 100 there too, and Heather has had two tournaments in the 80s. Anyway, counting all points Anne is now in the lead for this year.
But our vote very much just has 2 in it to end the year as GB No 1.
Heather has currently received 18 out of 37 votes ( 48.6% ), Bally 17 votes ( 45.9% ) and Anne and Laura one vote each ( 2.7% )

Yes, good point, Anne could theoretically be very close to Bally in the actual ( 52 week ) rankings after Johannesberg ( and well clear in this year's race ).
I do think she needs to get back to quite a bit better form to achieve this.
It is a strange anomaly how her points are going with general feelings ( which I share ) re her form and likelihood to end the year as GB No 1.
