Amanda has played Solsona-Carcasona three times (2007, 2008 and 2010) and won all three, the last two fairly easily.

It looks as if Amanda may have pulled out with an injury.

She was leading 6-3 1-0* when there was an injury break. They came back and got to 2-2 but then the match dropped off the board.

Bowtell has since tweeted that she has a walkover in the doubles final.

It could also be that she won but she is carrying an injury and wants to save herself for the singles.

It means that Lucy and Amy won the doubles title. winner.gif

 

I think that is Lucy's 2nd $10K doubles title.
