17yo Amiraghyan reached the Final of a 10K this week and took Naomi Broady to a 3rd set tiebreak in May, so not the best R1 draw for a seed to get!

It looks as if Lucy might have lost, there is a report that "Georgia" won 7-5 in the 3rd.
Georgia Brescia is a 15 year old.

Awful week - Anna seeded 1 thrashed by a 16yo qualifier ranked 1175 in R1 then Lucy seeded 8 edged out by an unranked 15yo qualifier in R2

Does this mean the Italians have some more talent coming through, I wonder?

The scoreline in Lucy's match was 7-6(4) 6-7(2) 7-5 btw.
