Boggo pulled out of US futures. Sensible, i'm sure he's won more matches than he ever expected over the last 5 weeks.

yeah i can see the sense in that, and he probably needed to make a decision early so he avoided a fine from pulling out last min at futures (i presume futures fine seeded players for late, non injury, withdrawals). Also when he was planning this run of events he wasn't DA at either Binghamton or Lexington (and he told me he wouldnt play Qualies at Lexington) so was sensible to have the option open initially.

He's about to play his 19th match in the space of 5 weeks, going on to play a 6th week would perhaps have been pushing it, esp at futures where you really need to be making the final and winning for there to be any decent points/cash. I doubt there will have been many occasions previously where he's played so many matches over such a time period. having said that it would have been nice to see him playing and hopefully winning another title, but obviosuly i'm not the one out on court in the sweltering heat but sitting at my desk in an office :)
