Wow, that's really poor that our girls aren't ranked high enough to get straight into a 10k.

Having looked on the ITF site. I'm not sure that this isn't a typo on their part as there is a 10k in the same location the week before, where the entries are much lower. This looks much more like a 25k which would make more sense.

By the time we get to week 37 they will be in directly and may even be seeded, but everyone and her dog enters initially.

Correct - This is just an inital list of everyone who has entered multiple events. There is a withdrawal deadline next Tuesday when the players make up their minds where they are going to play.

not exactly a great choice! one hard court and one clay court event for the whole world to choose from.

Nottingham looks like being a really, really weak field. If all but those with priority 1 withdraw there will only be two top 600 players there.

Nottingham looks like the weakest field for a hard court British future that I can ever recall. Bloomfield heads the list and Marsalek looks like being the second seed. Pauffley, Burn, Carpenter and Short should also be seeded. Big opportunity for some of the lesser lights of British tennis to get some relatively big points.

Just as a matter of interest, where do you get the Challenger entry lists from ? I regularly look at the futures on the ITF site, but have never seen the challenger lists.

The ITF site is showing Fitzy as going to Vietnam for this week where he should he the Nş1 seed. He will also be there the following week, according to the ITF site. (I am aware that your original list was "pre" withdrawal date, so Fitzy could have initially entered both.)

Challengers are run by the ATP. They don't publish entry lists but they can be found on Men's Tennis Forum.

Seagull I think has access to ATP Player Zone as well.

We could well have the top seed in 4 futures events this week. Bloomers, Boggo, Milts and Fitzy are all top of their acceptance lists.

 Must be a first........I'd certainly take 4 x 18pts for them!
