Week 39 - Vietnam F6 ($10,000) - Binh Duong - hard

L32 : (5) Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 481 v Soong-Jae Cho (KOR) WR 688

Cho went out in the first round last week but made the final from Fitzy's section of the draw two weeks ago.  He beat Fitzy's conquerer in the quarters although that was by retirement.

And in the doubles

R1: Andrew Fitzpatrick / Ajai Selveraj (IND) WR 1791 v Kaza Vinayak Sharma / Ashwin Vijayragavan (IND/IND) WR 1382

Really hope Fitzy can have a good week and salvage something from this trip.

likewise. But im spending my nights before matches googling things like 'how to get a secure loan with poor rating' and things like that.

Its tough here, no one is easy really, so i just have to play well and if i do that then ill be happy....sort of.

Won doubles in a tie break, and went for a shower. Now i dont need to go into too much detail but what happened to me in there lead to me punching another guy because he had sneaked into my cubicle from behind me and done something. I cant believe what has happened to me out here. just ridiculous.
police got involved as i demanded something happened. No action taken, just a telling off.

WTF?? There are some weirdos on this planet... It seems like you have had a crazy few weeks but just try your best to end your stay there on a high. You will look back on this trip and laugh (or maybe not haha)

maybe one day but as im still here and struggling massively to get by financially because some prat stolen my money, and now another weirdo does this, it feels like the trip from hell.
Cant wait for it to be over.
I have to do well this week, simple as that.

i have a profile created. i will upload a short video soon. Its not ideal i dont think as there are only 4 options. Some people would just prefer to donate and not have a skype call afterwards or what ever, but im trying every avenue so thought i should do this.

Good work.
Either potential opponent in the next round looks winnable - either WR922 [CH803] or WR804 [CH676].
Good luck for the strong week required!

i play the guy from china. His opponent tanked today because he was injured. The guy i play tomorrow has a big serve but is pretty erratic. So if i play well and keep running ill give myself the best shot.

L16: (5) Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 481 v Wang Chuhan (CHN) WR 801 (CH 676 in 2011)

Not before 05.30 BST tomorrow. This is Wang's last chance to avoid going without back to back wins for a full 6 months since he reached the SFs in Kofu at the end of March.

grab your copy of the times today. good write up on my story over here. im yet to see the article, will be a good read.
very pleased with my performance today.
Got a warning for swearing under my breath. fair enough.
Then got a warning for taking my shorts off at the change of ends, they weighed about 20kg through sweat. thus giving me a point penalty.
The was at 63 me 34 down a break in the second set. amazing. some ref's need to use there head. i didnt even know there was a rule.

Anyway i broke that game and went on to win! boom. something good is happening out here finally. doubles shortly.
