L32: (5) Joshua Milton WR 450 v Juho Paukku (FIN) WR 801
L32: (4) Daniel Smethurst WR 364 v (WC) Fred Simonsson (SWE) UNR
L32: (8) Tom Burn WR 665 v Kalle Averfalk (SWE) WR 982
All three of our guys are in different quarters of the draw and they all avoided being in the same quarter as top seed Erik Chvojka who is the outstanding player in the field. Josh is in his half.
R1: Tom Burn / Pablo Figueroa (SWE) WR 2259 v Sander Gille / Angelos Lenis (BEL/SWE) UNR
Josh lost the first set 6-4 and Paukku served for the match at 5-4 but Josh broke back and went on to take the 2nd set on a tie break (3) so into a 3rd set...

Watched the final 6 games. Tom looks like a counter-puncher (not a grinder). He does play attacking shots as well though but didn't see him come to the net once. Backhand looked the stronger shot. All in all looks like a sterotypical challenger/high futures level player.

Watched him plat a few times over the summer and I largely agree with all of that.
Oops sorry. I used the ATP site for the Brit opponents but lazily cut and pasted the brit rankings from above and forgot they would have obviously changed! Wont happen again....
