Which means Ed is only playing 3 weeks of $10k futures in Greece with at least a week's break w/c 13th May. Good. I'm hoping 1 or 2 attempted CHs (hard court) late May/early June avoiding clay altogether, then straight into grass after maybe a week or 2 to practice.
Josh G going back to Greece again, post injury/break (presumably at least for 3 weeks).........so he's in effect given up on him playing any CHs pre GB grass-court season!! Starting to be hard to rationalise this. He's also taken the trouble of developing a website and blogging, but stopped mid February as things started to turn out badly.....confused.
Hope Dan is in shape to make final GB clay tournament, then this clay tournament in Sweden. I wonder if the LTA has done a deal with the FFT to try and swap a French QWC for Wimbledon for a QWC for Dan for RG.......other than this, I can't rationalise why he would be going down the clay route, given his grass/hard court skills.......remember his schedule was specifically discussed with Leon Smith, so it can;t be just poor planning again.
Goodall is ranked in the 270's Korriban, he doesn't have the ranking to make most challengers now anyway
Yes he does. Through qualifying like James will have to do for next week in An-Ning, like Boggo occasionally does, like Kyle did last week. If he doesn't even attempt to play any higher level tournaments, how can he improve his ranking?
I'd suggest Josh G gets some confidence back at 10K level before trying to step up again to challenger. No point stepping up in a rut, just leaking cash for no return.
