Was really hoping to go along and give the large GB contingent some support this week, but not to be. Duty calls and work commitments mean I may also have to disappear from the forum for a while. But be warned, because my "alter ego" (aka Bob in Brazil) will be around to keep you entertained. wink

It's a big turnout as it is a 15k +H

I.e more points and free accommodation for main draw entries.

Yes, because of the two seeded wild cards, one of whom he drew! I thought they were quite tough draws too, then again it is a 15K+H.

L32: (Q) Nikki Roenn UNR v (Q) Bernabé Zapata Miralles (ESP) WR 1109 (CH 1106 earlier this month)

The winner plays the winner of Dave's match - although there are 7 Brits in the draw, none of the others can meet before the QFs. 6 play Spaniards in R1 though!

What a gem of a tournament for the British contingent, intrigued by the battle between The best player to come out of Bexley at a rising 698 and a falling 699, too close to call! Here's hoping we have a lot of boys to cheer for in the QFs
