Excellent win by young wildcard, Alex Knox-Jones (2003), beating the second seed and top-400 player, in three sets.

Ali Habib put out a seed too.

And several clutch three setter wins from our lads. Which is always nice.

First two rounds complete and unlike last week there are quite a few non-Brit matches to come - Bradley is still going strong, as is Jack PJ but a number of British seeds (including 6,7 and 8) are out

Thoughts for Mr and Mrs Leather who have both their son and daughter still going strong in the singles. Bet they (or at least one of them) are practically living at that Nottingham complex at the moment. First points too, I believe, for young Amy, born Oct. 2003.
