Out of interest Wardy didn't seem to be on this list and was an alternate in Lemington. Anyone know the process by which he suddenly appears here, it doesn't appear as a wild card entry, so it's confused me. Was he an alt in both? The level in Lemington seems lower so he'd have made the cut wouldn't he?

Typical Ward scheduling. Not the highest level field for this level tournament, hopefully points to be had.

On the Menstennisforums thread he shows on the original MD entry list in 24th position, i.e the last.

You man multiple enter at challengers and you are withdrawn from the others once you move into the main draw.
I assume he left his options open. There can be big fines for late withdrawals.

Ok, thanks. I was using the Italian entry list site and I'm sure chengdu didnt have him in.

Wouldnt changing last minute like this cost a lot in flight costs, surely it's expensive booking to China from USA that late in day.

Lee has struggled this year but that could be a tough assignment.

He is the top ranked deaf player in the world.

James is on livestream, just got broken, and hurled his racket along the floor from the back of the court to his chair....

2-3*

Lee just served for the match at *5-4 in the 2nd but James broke back, courtesy of a DF on break point. Back at *5-5

From what I can see, there is not a single spectator in the stadium and the atmosphere is as flat as the level of tennis.
