Rankings

26h May 2025

Just to point out that we have 5 players in the top-20 :)

(Henry, Lloyd, Julian, Neal and Joe)

25% of the top-20 !

We also have 7 players in the top-50 (i.e. 14%)

And also 7 players in the top-100 (i.e. 7%)

If you're going to be in there, you might as well be in there at the top

Roland Garros has treated our top men very well
Jack up to #4, Jake into the top-50 and Cam also up 21 places

Not so good in the next tier
But Loffers is now in the top-300
although Harry W has slipped back outside the top-500
Indeed there's a lot of bunching aroung the 500 mark - those in the 450s falling down and those in the 550s inching up - it's a perfect stort

Also, Toby back in the top-1000, and three players new in or back in - we like that

9th June 2025

That'll be a CH for Jake, too!

(Nitpicking aside smile thanks for compiling and posting these and drawing attention to those with significant ranking changes, especially at the lower levels.)

And 39 in the top 1000. Who can make that 40?

Luca Pow
There are a few others very very close.
We have some depth on the men's side.

I'm expecting more to break into the top 500 as well in the next few weeks.

Ha, yes I'd managed to already forget what I pointed out myself in the Tunisia M15 tournament thread, that Luca reaching the final would take him into the top 1000.

Live rankings has him up 219 places to live ranked 956 and GB #40, so 40 players will be comfortably in in next Monday's rankings.

Undoubtably looking very good for now re top 250 / 500 / 1000 though hope the guys keep doing the business for annoyingly players can drop out as well as join.

Yes, I love paulisi - he is the eternal optimist

I just look at all the ones on the edge of dropping out and worry

But I do agree that we've got some good college players in particular who could easily break into the top-1000

Luca is clear. And Charlie and Jansen are obvious ones. But there's a lot of others too.

Some reasonable jumps this week
Jack and Jake lead the way at the top
Evo doing his bit too
And his dubs partner, young Henry Searle

A couple of players literally just hanging on by the skin of their teeth in the top-500

But Millen is back to where he ought to be
And 20 year-old ex 18U National Champion, Luca Pow, now soars into the top-1000
With a few others closing in on the top-1000 too

Thanks CD. Good that our number in the top 400 isn't a 'thing'.

Though Oli T is trying to rectify that as he goes live 390! Just may need a win vs Alcaraz in R2 to nail it
