Well much easier than last week's final where Naiktha and Tereza lost in a MTB. This week they've been given a walkover instead...

That's strange, as Inglis and McPhee are both in the singles draw, and seeded.

It looks like Naiktha has followed in the footsteps of Kyle and broken the jinx.

Like Kyle, Naiktha waits months for one win and then 2 come at once. Wins 6-3 6-0.

Lasted a little longer than her first match, but she was 1-2 down early on and then won 11 of the next 12 games.

Storm played her first singles event of her comeback last week, coming through qualifying and making it to the QF before losing in 3 to Cabrera (the tournament winner), but as you say shes played a lot more doubles in recent years than singles.

Good heavens Naiktha is on a real roll this week, what a change

She and Tereza won their doubles too 6-1 6-1 so she won 4 sets today for the lost of only 5 games.

First singles event of the year it may be for Storm, but too much for Naiktha. End of her singles mini revival.

QF: BAINS, Naiktha (GBR) 8 278 lost to SANDERS, Storm (AUS) WC UNR CH=202 2014 3-6 5-7
