So, the final match in the quarter finals piches Serena Williams versus Billy Jean King. Serena is thought by many to be the greatest ever; Billy Jean is possibly the most influential player of all time and played in the most famous match in American tennis history, the Famous Battle of the Sexes in Houston.

Serena has 23 slams, 14 of which are on hardcourts. She has also reached 10 slam finals and finished RU, 5 of those are also on hardcourts. Lets face it, hardcourts are her surface of natural fit.
Billy Jean won 12 slams in total, and she won them before hardcourts became the surface of choice in the US and Australia, so none of those where on hardcourts. But Billy Jean would certainly have a massive fan base and with the crowd behind her, perhaps, could get some momentum!
