I see that Em is fourth match on Court 2 - and there is a stream on that court. MAtch is not before 15:30 local, 11:30 GMT, but it will be more like 12:30 unless the preceding match is over very quickly.
Thanks for the heads up TA. I was following some of the earlier scores on Bet365, but because there wasn't a little video symbol next to any of the matches, I assumed the quals weren't streamed (didn't bother to check the ITF live stream site...). Probably won't bother to watch Emily, but very handy to know for tomorrow and future reference. I assume Courts 1 and 2 will be those they use for streams throughout the week, with the other 2 courts not streamed.
This would be a GREAT time for Jodie to get her first WTA win.
Still just an ITF event FW, despite being stronger than some WTA internationals (or 250's as they are now), but yes, hopefully a win as the points are significant.
Duhhhh so it is. I always get confused. Still if she won would it be her biggest tournament win?

I believe it would be. She did beat a PR player in Q1 of WTA Birmingham a couple of years ago and received 13 points, but she would get 14 points for R1 a win here. It would certainly be the biggest win, tournament level-wise in a main draw.
Her current CH win ranking-wise is 150 vs Wang Xinyu in Cherbourg a few weeks ago, there's 5 players currently in the Q draw with a ranking higher than that, so there is a decent chance she'll have to better that this week, but it obviously just depends on who qualifies, and who she ends up with.
Have they allowed players to enter doubles on their singles ranking if Em and Sofia need a wildcard but players like Juvan are straight in? What a draw that is jeezo. Well, unlikely she'll be picking up her first win of 2020 but a good experience!

Yes, Jonh. Heather has a lowest counter of 1 point, and Em has a lowest counter of 28 points. 28 points for a first round win - and Heather is two points behind.
What a lousy draw.
Paul M - they allow players to enter on the better of singles and doubles. Em and Sofia ought to have just scraped in on rankings anyway, but I'll check the list shortly.

And shed also lose her spot in player of season vote at the same time, although hardly a front runner Id suggest !
My doubles knowledge isn't very strong, but that Heather match might not be as straightforward as it looks on paper. Xiyu is a talented youngster and was actually the slight favourite in her narrow (singles) loss again Hev in the WTA Acapulco SF earlier this year. She won Jr Wimbledon doubles in 2018, and won 3 lower level ITF dubs titles that year, but then only played 5 dubs events last year, hence her current low ranking, and GGP is currently in the (dubs) top 100, and I can remember her being pretty instrumental in the Fed Cup last year in a deciding dubs rubber win against Japan's renowned dubs pair.
You'd expect two top 100 singles players, both with doubles pedigree, to win, and there obviously could have been far worse draws, but it could be a bit of a banana skin.
All 8 top Q seeds advanced to the FQR, bar Q1 Gasparyan, who retired in the first set against a huge QWC outsider. Ex UK based Bolkvadze, who apparently hit an astonishing 22 DFs in ONE set today (and still won it), plays her now, so I'd take the winner of that one as a potential R1 opponent for Jodie.
