Their entries have fallen apart so badly I wouldn't be surprised if they've had a ring round all the players out early in other tournaments to fill in gaps

It has been decimated, I agree. Slightly surprised to not see Dom also in qualies, as he and Luke are in doubles together. I think 8th seed in main draw is below 100, or close to it, so be interesting to see where things get to..

Thanks to Jon and Madadman for posting the whereabouts of the draw. I had tried the ATP site but must have been too early.

So welcome back to singles Luke. Here's the Top seed for you LOL

Oh well. $1,295 for just signing in and turning up.

Edit

Of course if there is one more MD withdrawal, the top seed could end up being bumped up and Luke could end up playing an Alt.

Yes, thanks for the links.

Luke must have been really surprised to get called up, you'd think, if he was only fourth ALT.

I wonder if the court will look really big to him when he steps on it - like, 'where's my buddy'???

It's a bit hidden. If you go to the tournament page it's still not there. But if you go to Scores-> ATP Tour and then go the tournament page within that it shows.

Yes. I went through the "Scores" route, but it was only showing Aus Open when I looked earlier. Now they have added the 3 events for next week.

That "Statistical Entity" thing on Twitter is at it again and reminds me that Luke has in fact beaten Kwiatkowski previously in singles.

Luke was a decent singles player, but got into that position where his doubles ranking was so superior to his singles that he became a doubles specialist - lots of Brits have gone sown this route
