Neal has gone from Ken, through Jamie, then Venus, then Dan, back to Ken and then Jack Sock next in US Open. Hope he can remember all the different hand signals and moves!

Andy plays today versus Nick K (marquee match for a 250 event!) at midnight our time. 7 pm local.

Yes - was switching on to watch the start of the match but as Kyrgios has withdrawn, Andy will now play a Q or LL which surely wont be tonight as whoever it is cant be expected to play twice today and at such short notice. Shame for the crowd which from the TV pictures looks well attended.

Looks like an earlier night than expected for me!

Apparently Andy will be playing in about 20 mins time against Noah Rubin (LL). Unusual for somebody to have to play 2 matches in one day unless due to weather.

Bit of a ragged performance so far from Andy. Sluggish at the start but he improved as the set went on and was generally too good for Rubin and takes the first set *6-2.

The winner of Andy or now of course Rubin will actually play (13) Frances Tiafoe in the L32.

As for Dan's potential opponent, Lucas Pouille ( who beat Rubin in the FQR ) will be the qualifier up against Lopez.
