Well well well...Hamrouni is born 2007, from near Bristol. Dad is a tennis coach. Am guessing as he is in Tunisia that that is where his Dad's family hail from. I think Zechariah did quite well in this years lta grade 1 nationals (u14?, semis ?). Bizarrely I played (with a very good partner) against him and his Dad in our local doubles league a couple of years ago. Young to be in adult men's itf but no harm I guess if it fits with other plans.

Thanks for the info, Spireman

I can't remember the last time I saw a British 14 year-old play an ITF quali event (must have happened, but can't be often.....)

Glad he won a few games at least.

A little half term visit to family and a bit of fun while he is there.

No problem glad to help. Also glad he won some games. Seems a nice lad, talented, and only 12 when we played. Haven't seen him since but I doubt if he is a tall 14 year old, either, as his dad isn't tall. To sort of paraphrase you, cd, I can't remember the last time I saw a British player in any sort of itf who I've been on the same court as. Never I think. Very random, I know, but I did play against Chris Wilkinson's dad and brother once in men's doubles down near Southampton back in late 80s when Chris W was well known as a player, though.

Mukhtar Andu? He even got a point or two at that age.
