I am on the case. If I can get a scoop on why he is only playing doubles, I will post it here.

Billy's absence from singles confirmed as an "admin error" but not sure on which side. He isn't too bothered though as he says he has a sore knee and shoulder, so a lighter workload for a week is not a bad thing.

He is also fully aware of his proximity to the Top 500, which was a target all the way back when I was doing his laundry here in Spain.

And there was me thinking it was smart scheduling biggrin although it appears to have worked out well, a consideration for future long blocks of tournaments maybe.
