What a win, and in his first ever senior ITF singles match too, I believe!

I started following the match on live scores when he was 4-5* down in the 3rd set fearing it was probably going to be over quickly, 25 minutes later, I was still glued to the screen as he finally won the match after saving 5 match points!

Huge congrats to Toby Samuel - that's a corker !

Toby (born 2002) was the LTA's big pick - well ahead of Felix and Arthur.

I never really rated him too much but I've been following him at college because the lad obviously has qualities. (And there's some quite good banter between him and some of his UK and US mates there).

Brilliant clutch result.
