Just 2 Brits here for the main Eddie Herr event and Ranah Stoiber has already lost. There are also under 16 / under 14 / under 12 events, and I noticed a couple of Brits in the under 12s - one being Megan Knight who was name checked as one to watch in the Nationals thread. Both Megan and Denzell Darkey have exited in the first round though.
Boys R1 (L64)
(15) Gerard Campana Lee (KOR) v William Nolan
Girls R1 (L64)
(11) Laura Hietaranta (FIN) d. Ranah Akua Stoiber 6-1 6-1

Out of interest , David, how does Eddie Herr event stack up against Orange Bowl for prestige and entry quality ? Is this Queens to Wimbledon?

That's a reasonable analogy. The Orange Bowl has always been mentioned by players as a top target (under 18 and under 14 particularly) whereas the Eddie Herr doesn't get as much attention (and the under 18 event is a grade lower).
Will took a set off the seed, but none of the Brits here survived round 1
Incidentally the two preceding events in Mexico (Grade 1/A) both ended with finals contested by the often mentioned Fruhvirtova sisters, who are now ranked 5 and 6

For the third Grade 1/A event running the girls final will be contested by the above-mentioned Czech sisters. The boys final is between 16th seed Killan Feldbausch and second seed Vlacheslav Bielinskyi
