NB Ryan Storrie is still in the MD entry list (as 4th seed) despite retiring last week so hopefully is OK....

But, after last week's retirement and despite him still being on the MD list, there is no sign of Ryan Storrie in the main draw, so - unfortunately - you've got to fear that's something not so nice...

Ali is the last Brit standing in 2021.

I thought he could have ended this notable year by winning the title from qualifying without dropping a set. But alas, he has dropped one. Poor show

Slightly unlucky that he got a seed.
Given three qualifiers got unseeded guys, and one got a wildcard.
BUT one got the top seed, so at least that wasn't him

In true slightly irritating style, the guy who Ali beat has now got a LL spot and be drawn against a qualifier. (Which means that one of the qualifiers also got a far easier draw).
