 I am sure that is the case, for walkovers and retirement wins? You get the points associated with the round you reach unless you had a first round bye in which case if you lose your opening (second round) match, you just get Rd 1 points; but walkovers count for points purposes as if you had played.

A walkover though doesnt count on his win/loss record, as they never played, but a retirement win does count as a win for win/loss purposes

Ryan will move either further up the ranking despite this loss. 241 or 242 next week. I wonder where his ceiling is? Be interesting to see how he does on the clay assuming he chooses to attempt French Open qualies.
