It was a really good effort by Liam - I really thought he had the second set t-b - but not to be....

Jamie and Venus won their opener on an MTB (mind you, didnt Ryan beat Haase and Kubot last week, so not that impressive in reality - or maybe it makes Ryan's win even better!)

Jonny and Ken lost in straight sets

Jamie and Michael Venus won 4 and 4 and into the semis.

Jamie is now back to 18th Live ranking, hot on the heals of Neal again, although he cant overtake Neal, this week at least.

Crowds have been great at this event and both Korda and Tiafoe have been fabulous this week. Should be a good semi. Im looking for one of the Americans to do well at RG this year, courts arent so slow on clay this season. Or dont seem to be .

Top prediction - US player to reach RG semis.

Jamie about to start. Their opposition have played together their whole careers and won several challengers in the past year.

Jamie + a set and a break down to the local pair. Not looking good.

In fairness their opponents as a pair have now won their last 17 matches in Portugal and 24 of their last 25 matches in Portugal and altogether 34 of their last 37 matches (all at challengers except for this week and one DC match).

Thats impressive - their ranking seems low for such a record?
