Brandon was rather blown away in the first set, trying to overplay (as is his wont) and lost 2-6

But did very well to buckle down and see out the second set, after having been a break up on two occasions

He's playing the 6th seed, who's a very decent solid player

Good luck in the third, Brandon !

They started the third, Brandon broke immediately, then the German quickly called for a MTO - a very 'convenient' one, IMO, to change the momentum, which worked a dream - and it's now 1-1

Experience counting in this one - but Brandon really has to look at his first serve percentages - it's under 50% for every set - that's just not good enough - puts way too much pressure on the second serve - puts yourself on the back foot from the get-go

Matt Southcombe is into a third set too - allez, Matt

And good ol' Tiran is battling hard in the second, trying to force a third
