Week 28 - ATP 250 - Infosys Hall of Fame Open - Newport, RI, USA (grass)

L32:  Sam Querrey (USA) WR 157 (CH = 11 in February 2018) vs (WC/6) Andy Murray WR 52 (CH = 1 in November 2016)

The head-to-head is 2-7 to Querrey, their last encounter being that ill-fated quarter-fianl match at Wimbledon in 2017, Andy having beaten him in straight sets in the last 32 at that year's Oz Open...

No entrants in the doubles.

To clarify, the Andy vs Querrey H2H is 7-2 to Andy. I just checked since I couldn't believe that it could be 7-2 to Querrey.

Wow, I can't imagine Andy has such a bad win:loss ratio as that against any other player. Thank you for the clarification Indy.

Sorry about that.  Thought it seemed a bit odd when I typed the post, but didn't look more closely!  Don't how I managed to reverse the numbers!     I'm never going to live that down, am I?  disbelief  In my defence, I had just got up early to give the cat his breakfast...

Out of curiosity and risk to my life  how does early cat's breakfast affect your brain power?

biggrin  Close!  I'm not a morning person, so I'm usually pretty groggy at that time of day. I've continued to feed him at about the same time as was my wont when I was still working.  If I didn't, he wouldn't give me any peace.  It's bad enough in the summer once it's light!  wink
