QR1: (qWC/q2) Andy Murray WR 48 (CH = 1 in November 2016) vs Taro Daniel (JPN) WR 95 (CH = 64 in August 2018)
Andy lost to him by 4, 4 & 4 in the last 64 of the AO, but got his revenge in Doha (2 & 2) shortly afterwards & in the last 32 at Indian Wells (1-6 6-2 6-4). Overall head-to-head is 3-1, including a Davis Cup win in 2016.

From what I am reading, Andy will get bumped up into the MD as not all the SE places will get taken up. It simply hasn't been made official yet.

I think this is incorrect, after midday(est) on a Friday there are no move moves from the Alts list to the main draw lists as far as Im aware. Any spaces in the maindraw that become available between that time and the start of qualifying go to the players in qualifying in order so I think Musetti will get bumped If anyon. I may be wrong but thats my understanding of how these things work.
L56: Filip Krajinovic (SRB) WR 47 (CH = 26 in April 2018) vs Daniel Evans WR 39 (CH = 22 last September)
L56: Holger Rune (DEN) WR 26 (= CH) vs (9) Cameron Norrie WR 11 (CH = 10 in April)
L56: (PR) Stan Wawrinka (SUI) WR 322 (CH = 3 in January 2014) vs Andy Murray WR 48 (CH = 1 in November 2016)
Andy not even showing as a WC. The head-to-head is 12-9 in Andy's favour. They last played one another in the first round at RG in 2020, when Stan won by 1, 3 & 2. The winner of the match will play Cam or Rune in the last 32.
If Dan ends up playing 1 or 2 finals in Montreal I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls out of here.
Im sure he wont - hes in the doubles final but loves playing tennis and is in form right now so Im sure hell go for this. Hes taken the next week off before the us open so Im sure he will play.
I've no idea, and he's obviously getting a little older now, but I always remember - back 10-12 years ago - when Dan was part of the NTC elite 'up-and-coming' squad - some spokesperson said the players were extremely heavily monitored, and one of the tests they did was for muscle regeneration/recuperation - basically, how quickly all the little microtears in the muscles mend, which is directly linked to how quickly you recover from exertion
And the guy said that Dan Evans was quite exceptional - completely naturally, his muscle regeneration was at the very top end of the range
So the guy is quite a powerhouse when it comes to back-to-back matches, and tourneys.....
