It looks as if Luke is very much priorising doubles now with his challenger schedule while still at times playing challenger singles qualifying.
Doubles SFs in his last 2 weeks.will take his doubles ranking up to a further CH ( showing as live 217 ) from WR 256 two weeks ago. His live singles ranking is 803.

Yes, and he's 28 now. I think he must realise that the next five years or so is doubles time - realistically, he's close to being 'past his peak' in singles, and without much momentum - he won a 15k last year, and made a couple of finals, but it hasn't really led into any decent singles form this year.
And his doubles, of course, is doing well. Won the 25k at Notts, and Ajaccio, made some finals, got some wins now at chally level.
I seem to remember some other post about this too - someone saying he was working (at Bath?) with pure doubles focus. It would seem the best route for him.
