Having played with Willbomb and lost against him and Giles in the final last week, Josh Paris is now teaming up with Daniel C in doubles and are top seed.

This looks like a last minute thing - they're the only dubs teams who didn't play their R1 match yesterday, and Josh obviously wasn't in singles.

Guess they got matey at Glasgow and decided to try it together. Josh does play quite a lot in Israel too, may have family or friends there - he's often reported in The Jewish Chronicle.

Pleased for him - Daniel C is a great guy and I don't think they've played together before (might be wrong....) so always good to make good networking connections

AS previosuly said, hat's off to Josh for making the right friends

And the UK event for giving him that opportunity

Dan Cukierman won the singles here too. He's a very decent player. And handy at dubs too

Lovely for Josh to get a 25k title, especially when he was so close last week
