Seriously though, when he was 17/18yo and coming up through the rankings, there was a deliberate strategy for him to play on clay and I think it was where he was at his most comfortable at that stage of his career. I know that Beechy thought it was his best surface back then.

He certainly has a respectable record at Roland-Garros, reaching the third round in 2017 & 2018.
