Youd hope, given their form, that Liam and Jan can both get through to play each other in the FQR. Fingers crossed.

The players on their sections of the draw shouldnt frighten them, nor should they be written off.

However good Jans form has been its all been on Clay. Not played any hard court tournaments as warm up. Hopefully his form transfers over to the hard.

I'm not sure I agree. Jesper de Jong just won a challenger without dropping a set. Very much the man in form. Toughie for Liam (assuming he gets there!).

i guess none of these will be easy, whoever they play, all will be ranked broadly 100-200 range etc and on their day could beat anyone else. I dont know much about Sels, De Jong, Royer in Liam's potential path, so base my view as to ease of progress on that lack of visibility!!

Jan has lost the first set 3-6 and is already down 0-2 in the second.

Showing that he needed time on the hard before coming here

C'mon Liam.

Such a shame for Jan after all his recent progress.

That's the first set Jelle has won in 8 matches...
