Mayot will be a good test for Arthur.

I imagine Camus will be philosophical about that defeat

Really good win for Arthur, well done . Beating a French player of note, in France, in an indoor challenger .

Arthur doing really well hes going to up there with Ryan by next year I suspect. Like the way he plays as well very tenacious. Think he will be popular with the crowds once he is known to the masses.

Yes, I agree, he draws the crowds in, you warm to him, as you say, he's got energy, he's tenacious, the 'little dog with the big fight', but not just scuttling around, getting things back, he's got far more intent, going forwards, really taking the game to the opponent

Mayot used to be the absolute star-to-be of French tennis, he was #1 in juniors, won the Australian Open, but it never quite happened....or not yet. I only saw the first set but Arthur well deserved it.
