Consolidating that position inside the Top 500.

Great work from Anton.

Thought that could be a tough one for Anton against a younger higher ranked player but not a bit of it! Well done.

Anton carried on playing well - and took the second set 6-3

He should also remember that Hemery is a 'bit of a headcase' - stick with it Anton !

Anton beats the "head case":

As a matter of interest, why do you describe him as such, CD?

Absolutely enjoyed that

Haven't seen Anton play that well (and the previous match) for a long time

Calvin didn't give it to him (which I'd sort of hoped) - Anton had to play well right to the end

(Calvin used to go in for theatricals, SC, and just lose matches that he had practically in his pocket, sort of lose concentration, get into the 'the world is against' me sort of mode. But maybe he's outgrown that now - or maybe I overexagerate in my memory - there was very little signs of it today).
