How many wins will Britain get at the AO 2025?

It?s that time again, to try and predict how many wins GB achieves at the Australian Open across the 5 main draws.

All British wins count for one, in doubles if it?s part of a pair or a whole pair, it is just 1 win.

Entries will close 5.15pm Saturday

recent roll of honour:

AO 2023 - 20 wins

FO 2023 - 15 wins

Wimbledon 2023 - 30 wins

US Open 2023 - 26 wins

AO 2024 - 21 wins

FO 2024 - 13 wins

Wimbledon 2024 - 40 wins

US Open 2024 - 27 wins

Recent prediction winners:

AO 2023 - Coup Droit, Indiana and one other un named person!!

FO 2023 - Miriam abc and JonH Comes Home

Wimbledon 2023 - Miriam abc

US Open 2023 - Elegant Point

AO 2024 - Elegant Point and Goldfish.

FO 2024 - Mdewey and two other un named people!!

Wimbledon 2024 - Indiana

Paris Olympics - Miriam abc

US Open 2024 - Indiana and Flipflops

Recent AOs have landed at 20/21 British wins, Elegant Point and Goldfish are the AO defending champs, but Indy won the last 2 slams and Miriam had a return to form at the Olympics.

Thanks Strongbow! A few folks voting without saying who they are or what they voted. Please dont hide, of course you can keep anonymous but its not intended to be a confidential vote!

I've gone for a slightly optimistic 23 (like several other people, I now see!)

We're going to have quite a few players in the various draws (even without qualifiers) and I always feel the final tally depends a lot on how many we get through the first round in each competition rather than two or three players (or pairs) going deep.

Early days, Tanaqui. You are just the second person to vote for 23.

Hahaha, yes. I thought there'd been more votes and decided to misread 33% as 3 votes altogether!

Again, a fair number of folks (3 out of 7) are voting and not saying what they voted. Which is fine, but it sort of spoils us in terms of the prediction competition and seeing who does best. Saying anonymous person won doesnt really work!

If you are one of the three, please come back and say or, if you havent voted and do vote in the next week, please say what you vote at the time!

Thank you!

Mmm. Still people (50%) not declaring their names. Albeit 4 out of 8

Come on folks, please say what you vote for to allow this to be a decent competition!

Yes, folk go on and declare your votes.

Jon puts a lot into these Grand Slam prediction contests plus Player of the Month, Player of the Season etc.

He's hardly asking much in return. What's the secret?  confuse

Thanks Indy. As the great poet, Toyah Wilcox, wrote Its a mystery, a shot in the dark, the big question mark or something like that
