Week 4 - ITF W100 - Bengaluru, India - Hard

Lily should be in the main draw.

Naiktha was 8th on the alternates list but isn't in qualifying although the three below her are, so she must have opted out.

Lissey is entered for the doubles, but is only 6th on the acceptance list

Maybe Naiktha was a wildcard? For winning the doubles? smile

Nice try CD, but all the main draw wildcards were announced a couple of days ago. Ankita and 3 other Indians have them.

Comfortable win for Lissey and Prarthana - and a 21 point counter for Lissey, replacing 16
Naiktha due on court shortly.

I watched some of the match before I fell asleep. I have never seen Lily play so badly. She seemed to have lost all coordination. She was having terrible trouble with the ball toss. She must have been catching as many ball tosses as she was hitting and many that she hit were in the wrong place resulting in lots of double faults. There were also lots of unforced errors, it is surprising she managed to win 9 games.
