Boys: J300 Cairo, Egypt, clay (Week 6)

There is a big J500 event in Cairo next week sandwiched between two J300s in the region.  Ben Gusic Wan has entered all three, seemingly looking to this swing as a chance to try and boost his ranking to enable him to take part in slams this year, as he has a lot of points to defend shortly.

R1 (L32)

Maximilian Carrier v Karim Mabrouk (EGY)

(5) Benjamin Gusic Wan v Alexey Shibaev (***)

Ben was unable to end the Austrian's love affair with Cairo. However Max has made his first J300 doubles semi to keep British interest going.

Doubles SF

(1) Nurlanuly/Wazny (KAZ/POL) v Carrier/Doskocil (GBR/CZE)
