Any Brits playing in wk 25 are more than likely to have some form of Wimbledon entry either main draw or a wildcard, otherwise they would be in the playoffs.

Nearly all will have lost by Thursday

And the rule about two competitions in one week doesn't apply

And in previous years, we've definitely had at least one player have to make the decision to withdraw on Wednesday when wildcards were announced and go and play play-offs, or play on

So I don't think they know  - well, some may, of course, but definitely most don't - speaking to some last year, several didn't have a clue

I see zero wins for any Brits here to be honest. Maybe the South Americans are going in cold? Pretty big maybe though.

I think Paul has a decent shout - hes played some grass, looked good against Cilic last week at Ilkley. And not writing Jan off.

Yes, definitely had quite a lot of players that have started off a tournament ( as you say most being knocked out by Thursday ) and ended up in the WC play-offs. That was, particularly with our women, when more had the chance to start off in a tournament.

Arthur Féry ate up Jacquet and spat him out for breakfast

Top-150 win for Arthur

I do SO hope he is properly back full-time

And he's another who looks SO comfortable on grass
