A quiet week after Wimbledon with this the highest grade event.  One Brit here, as Clarice Ouvarova stays on in Colombia after reaching the final of the J100 doubles last week.

Play was abandoned yesterday with Clarice 6-4 up and she has gone on today to clinch her first J200 victory

Clarice seems to benefit from two day matches. She split sets with her seeded opponent yesterday, and went on to win today. She therefore earns a crack at last week's doubles partner, the highly rated Welles Newman

It is the 14 year old's best week in ITFs as far as points won is concerned, but her singles campaign has ended. She is still in the doubles though.
