The World Juniors take place this week with the British team of Megan Knight, Liv Zingg and Grace Watson drawn in Group 4 along with Japan, Venezuela and Chinese Taipei. Live scores and possibly some live streams should be available here.
From the bits I saw, it was quite a classic clay match, lots of long rallies with not much going on, but the Japanese player being a little more solid, a little better in placement, and a little better at doing something with the shorter ball (basically a bit better )
.... and Megan/Grace came up trumps in the doubles. The end result is 2 wins for both GBR and Chinese Taipei (who beat Venezuela 3-0). Both nations qualify for the quarter-finals and tomorrow's match determines position in the quarter-final draw. The winner will take on a second place team in another group
