Following on from the discussion in the qualifying thread, I do think that while, given his lack of hard court results, Musetti being seeded to play Jack in the fourth round is obviously good, Diallo in the 3rd round potentially is pretty rough considering the options, particularly when we don't know Jack's fitness levels. Not a great draw for Cam as well, given Korda has been injured almost constantly over the last 12 months and is thus heavily underranked. I'd make Jake the favourite against RBA if he was in form, but, well, he's very much not...

Billy's in!  biggrin  However,...

L128:  (LL) Billy Harris WR 151 vs (25) Félix Auger-Aliassime (CAN) WR 27 (CH = 6 in November 2022)

Tennis Abstract rates Jack to reach the last 8, albeit close with Musetti, Cam and Jake to go out round 1. Billy not given a prediction yet

I suppose the positive view of this is that FAA on a bad day can lose to much worse players than Billy

Agreed, there might have been better draws out there but this match isn't a foregone conclusion.

Im assuming the bandage on Jacks left arm yesterday in his practice with Carlos is surely precautionary?

 Brilliant news smile

The LL spot, I mean

But as others say, it's not the worst opponent slot either

Beeb article commenting on how Jack has worked on/built up his fitness & physique in recent months with a little help from a certain Matt Little.
