As Lambda posted in the entries thread

"WCs have been announced as Mika, Alice, Ella and Alicia but as paulsi says Alice is very likely to be in directly.
Mika cannot get a SE - a W35 isn't a qualifying event for a SE to a W100. "

It looks as if Freya may have the fourth wildcard as she is the only one missing from the qualifying list. No qualifying wildcards appear to have been given out - players right down to alternate 16 on the entry list have made the draw (with a few missing)

Points for a W100 are:-

A late withdrawal today should also put Ella in directly. Ruby Cooling is the only one in the alts list (alt 17) not in qualifying that I can see as a possible candidate for Ella's WC becoming free (if it has). She could have been in qualifying - Zainab Williams at alt 21 is in qualifying.

The WTA points make no logical sense. Why is a Q1 win worth 3 and an FQR just an additional 2 - its a harder match, in theory?

Ditto a round one win gives 11 points extra to the winner , a round 2 winner gets just 9 more.

They must have made these up in a bar or asked a management consultant to write them (I can say that as a management consultant!).

10am start - i think we may have a few GB players with 3pts after tomorrow. Four GB winners?

I need to do some research before arriving next time....

Got to the car park, told I couldn't park there and had to park at the Uni next door.
Then proceeded to walk in at the same time as a player through reception without being stopped and walked all the way to the players lounge before being escorted back to reception by the big boss.
Then the lad couldn't get the payment machine working.£7.50 for qualifying....
Anyway, found my way through the maze and had a chat with Megan Davies' mum, who was volunteering.
Set up is excellent on centre. Miles better than Shrewsbury

I have always thought Shrewsbury was a tremenous venue-best British ITf by far. Wrexham must be amazing if it's miles better !
