I feel a bit sorry for the lowly ranked British girls, who currently will need wildcards to get into qualifying at Birmingham. In order to get game time they have to travel overseas, (much more costly) as the LTA still refuse to put on domestic 15ks despite the large number of players that would be interested.

Whats the reasoning behind the LTA's decision there?
Just 2 direct entries into Birmingham - Marni & Emily
Hannah will get a WC and the others are open, with Vic(likely as trains there), Esther, Millie, Katy, Ranah.

I'm predicting Hannah, Vic, Ranah and Eliz (who won one through British Tour Masters)
Millie is still in Poland for the doubles final, so not certain what she will be doing - might get one instead of Eliz
