If they get through, Neal and Christian would play Martinez and Munar in round 2, which I think could be quite tricky.

Nys and Roger-Vasellin have lost in round one, the 8th seeds. They lost to Argentinians and two Argentine pairs play each other in round 2. Looking at the early results, I wonder how generally the courts are playing in terms of speed - is it possible they are a bit slower this year?

Anyone got any insights on court speed?

tricky opening draw, a win in their first match as a pair here would be a good start

Marcus and Jakub Paul win the first set in a TB despite Marcus being broken in his opening two service games. The Swiss is an excellent returner.

Marcus at the Australian Open

2008: Sent home as a junior - didn't play a match

2009-2024: No activity

2025: Cam pulled out - didn't play a match

2026 - 18 years after first being there finally gets on court and beats the 15th seeds

It's been quite a journey for him
